Microneediling Dermapen - Face

Micro-needling is a very effective form of skin rejuvenation, working by reaching a deeper into the skin levels this enables this treatment to tackle scarring, such as acne scars or stretch marks, dark spots and freckles caused by the sun, as well as skin laxity, wrinkles, and large pores.

The Dermapen is a non surgical and safe method of micro needling. The Dermapen is passed over the area to be treated, and inserts tiny needles into the skin, leaving minute puncture wounds. These tiny punctures trigger the body’s wound healing response and encourage the body to renew the skin cells in that area. While the body repairs the skin, it increases the production of collagen and elastin, immediately plumping the area, and reduction in wrinkles.

With the Dermapen no surgery or recovery time is required and in just a few short treatments you will see remarkable results, not only will the increased elastin and collagen plump up your face, but old scars and marks will fade too.

Micro-needling is suitable for:

Treatments to complement the microneedling will be assessed in consultation and matched to your skin needs. The Dermapen Dermaceuticals™ range includes:

  • Hyla Active – A serum with intensive moisture infusion suitable as both a glide when conducting treatment and as a home-care product. Hyla Active reduces lines, wrinkles and provides a smoother texture to the skin.
  • Antioxidant Cocktail – A serum which minimises the chance of a free radical attack. It diffuses the ageing effects of pollution, stress and prolonged sun exposure. Antioxidant Cocktail repairs the sign of sun damage and revives skin with a smooth, refreshed appearance.
  • Brite Lite – A flexible corrective serum which restricts excess pigment formation and reduces appearance of age spots, melasma and uneven skin tone. Brite Lite promotes a more even complexion and sedates pigment for long lasting results.
  • Vitamin Rich Repair – A cream which maximises skin repair and strengthens complexions. Vitamin Rich Repair nourishes the skin and softens the appearance of fine lines and deep wrinkles.
  • Retinal Active – A intense infusion of Vitamin A, Retinal Active has repair, rejuvenation and anti-aging properties. The cream firms and lifts the skin as well as aid in repairing scars and aged skin.

Advanced medium to deep skin Peel:

Inno -Exo MCA 35 peel

Medium chemical peels penetrate the skin more deeply than light chemical peels.

The Inno-EXO MCA is a Powerful skin revitalisation is a 35% Monochloroacetic Acid formula with intense action on signs of ageing and lines of expression. The coagulation of proteins with a bio-revitalising effect makes it possible to reach all dermal-epidermal skin layers.

This chemical solution, which is custom formulated for each patient, works by removing the dull, damaged outer layers of skin — those affected by acne, fine lines, sun exposure, and other factors. In the week or so after treatment, these dead layers of skin slough off, revealing a new, smooth layer of skin.

  • Reduces brown spots, age spots, and actinic keratosis
  • Improves the texture of leathery, sun damaged skin
  • Improves skin radiance
  • Improve melasma
  • Treats some types of acne
  • Reduces fine lines
  • Increases the formation of new collagen, which can tighten the skin

30 min £200 - Results will be seen from first treatment, however a course of three over 3 month is recommended then 6 monthly.

What will happen during the procedure?

Your skin will be cleansed several times with liquid cleanser, alcohol and possibly acetone. It’s important that all the oil be off the skin so the peel solution will penetrate evenly. Then the peel solution is applied and sometimes this is done in two stages. The solution dissolves dead surface skin cells allowing a new fresh and younger layer of skin to shine through.

Will it hurt?

Discomfort is minimal, although you may experience some tingling, itching and a sensation of heat while the peel solution is active. This is completely normal and should subside quickly. Sometimes a small handheld fan is used for cooling in this stage. Then an ointment is applied to speed healing and post care instructions are given.

What will my skin look like afterwards?

Your skin may look sunburned for a few hours and you may experience some mild peeling which could last for several days. After treatment it is important to take extra care in the sun, wearing a sunblock with an SPF30 or above.

When will I see results from my MCA peel?

Down time for this deep peel can be for up to 1 week. This is due to the treated layers of skin gradually flake away, revealing a new layer of skin. As soon as you finish peeling you will see results. Your skin should continue to improve for 30-60 days as long as you are protected from the sun
